About Us
Our Mission
The Oceana and Mason County Local Council of Children's Trust Michigan (CTM) serves as a voice for Michigan's children and families and promotes their health, safety, and welfare by leading local programs and services that prevent child abuse and neglect. Since 2013, our council has spent $120,000 to positively impact the lives of Oceana and Mason County children.
The Problem
In Michigan, an average of 275 suspected child abuse or neglect complaints are investigated daily
In 2018, there were 24,654 confirmed cases of abuse or neglect, representing 37,738 child victims in Michigan.
